The first location for a new outdoor gear and apparel store. The idea was to create a modern, upscale "boutique" look that still has an outdoor flair to it. The design incorporates a variety of eco-friendly and sustainable materials

A 13,939 sf retail building developed to work with Grayson's downtown development regulations. The building is purposefully broken up to create a varied feel using designs reminiscent of turn of the century architectural character.

A new 28,000 sf Marshalls built in the East Village project in Roswell, Georgia. The store was designed to be complimentary with the previously established "upscale campus" feel of the 38 acre mixed-use project.

2 retail buildings totaling 20,300 sf built as the first phase of a new retail village. The buildings are broken up to create diversity and borrow from the feel of the old downtown to help continue the classic and historic feel that coastal Beaufort strives to protect.

Developed as a part of Hedgewood's new mixed-use community, Buildings I & J bracket the Nellie Power Park at Downtown Woodstock. Building I provides a multi-tenant restaurant building with a 1950's modernist character while Building J provides for a single tenant within an all brick building with historical overtones

Developed as a part of Hedgewood's new mixed-use community, the tenant storefronts for Buildings C & D are designed to bring Madison Avenue style to Downtown Woodstock. Blending a large diversity of individual styling and detailing, the uniqueness of the designs lends itself to pedestrian friendly window shopping not often found in typical retail environments

2 freestanding retail buildings that flank a new LA Fitness. The design breaks up the scale of the buildings and the detailing works to match the required historic look and feel set by the City of Woodstock.

The challenge with this project was to create something that both fit the prototype needs of the tenant as well as the historic design guidelines for the City of Madison while still maintaining the established budget. Brick veneer, traditional cornice profiles, gooseneck lighting and awnings with decorative brackets all contributed to making the design successful.
