The 2.5-acre site overlooks Georgetown Park and is situated within Dunwoody Green, a new JW Homes development.

Plans to develop The Park at Georgetown in Dunwoody are moving forward.

Crim & Associates in February acquired the future home for the project—a 2.5-acre site that overlooks Georgetown Park—for $900,000 where 21,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space will be constructed.

“The City will allow us to obtain an open container permit for the development” so The Park at Georgetown would be a “great spot for a brewery/brewpub/taproom,” Archie C. Wanamaker, an associate broker at Crim, Wednesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.

Crim also plans to activate the park, using the space for events like concerts and restaurant tastings, he said.

The Park at Georgetown is situated at the eastern-edge of Dunwoody Green, a new JW Homes development, at 4475 Pointe Place Ave.

“The Park at Georgetown reflects the new urbanism that has been unfolding in places like Canton Street in Roswell, downtown Woodstock, and Alpharetta City Center,” according to the project’s marketing materials.

“This development has the distinctive opportunity to provide an old-world experience within the dynamic Dunwoody market.”

Proposed delivery of the spaces is set for quarter four of 2019.
